I really enjoyed my time with Kerry learning new techniques to help put my mind at ease about labour and birth and all the different scenarios that can take place when its time for the baby to be here. I feel so much better being able to go through the rest of my pregnancy feeling more in control and ready for whatever happens next. Kerry is so easy to get on with and it felt like talking to a friend every week, which was great! I would definitely recommend Hypnobirthing to other mums to be in future.

Our Aim

The Calm births course uses a combination of Hypnobirthing techniques and practical antenatal education. We will ensure you are familiar with the physical and hormonal changes that take place within your body during labour and learn to embrace those feelings. Trusting not only your amazing body but your mind and your baby, keeping that lovely oxytocin flowing with a positive mindset throughout. These tools along with other practical techniques for you and your birth partner to use include, deep relaxation, simple breathing techniques and light touch massage, our aim is to support and empower you to achieve your own calm, beautiful birth, what ever that may look like, whether that be a vaginal or a C-section birth, hypnobirthing can have such a positive impact.

Hypnobirthing classes First baby, not a clue about birth or even how to care for a baby, so booking sessions with Kerry was the best thing we ever did. My initial thought was that hypnobirthing would involve holding crystals whilst chanting the baby down the birth canal with voodoo rituals – It’s really not. Hypnobirthing… Continue Reading

Positive induction

Positive induction

Induction I went in the hospital to be induced at 41 + 4 weeks after 3 unsuccessful sweeps and testing out all the natural ways to bring on labour from 37 weeks (dates, raspberry leaf tea & lots of walking!!).   I had the pessary inserted at 10am on the 16th Feb, nothing happening throughout… Continue Reading
